Default What is Substantial Presence Test, Am I Resident or Non Resident for Tax Purposes?

What is Substantial Presence Test?

Substantial Presence Test is one of the Tests, to determine, if you qualify as a Resident or Non Resident for Tax Purposes.

Substantial Presence Test Calculator:

Substantial Presence Test , Resident or Non Resident - H1B,F1,J1,L1 Visa Taxes,1040NR or 1040NR-EZ, 1040 or 1040NR, IRS Pub 519

Again this is not the only conclusive test, for determining your residency, as your residency depends on Visa Status, Exemptions etc.

So we encourage you to post your questions in the Forum or Contact Us.
