I haven't gone out of the country since "January 14, 2007". Would you still suggest filling dual status??- or have you just mistaking because of the wrong quotation in the previous msg? :
"So if you are in US on H1B, since Jule 15, 2008 you are considered a Resident Alien for Tax purposes, and eligible to file Form 1040"
